Graphics Come In A Variety Of Forms.

Here at CTRL D MEDIA, our team has been working hard to learn and perfect a wide variety of graphic styles and graphics applications, from Adobe Creative Suite, to 3D applications such as Cinema 4D and Blender. The goal is to be able to provide nearly any style of graphics for our clients needs, with a particular emphasis on graphic design, 3D modeling, and motion graphics. In the future, we are looking to expand our graphics services to include VFX, UX application design, product design, and rich media content to name a few.

2D Design

Graphic design is serious business. While this is true, design would not exist if it weren’t for the fun of experimentation and discovery. Utilizing software such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, our team has spent countless hours creating art and design for businesses and artists alike, always striking the balance between serious and fun, without compromising brand identity. Some of the work we have delivered include logos, branding, album art, website content, background art, flyers and brochures.

3D Graphics

There are so many applications for 3D design, that it has become one of the most exciting frontiers for an artists and designers. From prototyping products, to creating art for marketing purposes, 3D graphics have become ubiquitous in today’s world. While our primary focus has been animation and 3D modeling, we do not limit the scope of our ambitions in this field and are constantly inspired by the possibilities.

Animation

Animation is a powerful tool. It can be used to express ideas that would not be possible in any other way. That is why animation has become one of the primary focuses of CTRL D MEDIA. From motion graphics and animated logos, to promotional cartoons and proof of concept product videos, we recognize the wide spectrum of services animation can facilitate.

Logo Design

When you think of a popular brand or product, the first thing that probably pops in your head is it’s logo. In today’s world, that is no accident. Since the public has been subjected to decades, if not centuries of design trends, logo design has become more sophisticated and psychological in order to keep up with what the public will accept. We enjoy working closely with our clients to create the perfect logo for their brand or product that stands out, while still fitting in. We are also not afraid to break all the rules in order to achieve what our clients envision, no matter how unconventional.

Float

For this design, we worked closely with FLOAT, to find the right balance between minimal and eye catching. Inspired by swedish design, the founders of FLOAT had a good idea of what they wanted their logo to look like. After many iterations of typography modifications and color variations, we finally landed on a logo that felt like it had always existed for this brand.

FLOAT is a sensory deprivation float pod spa located right on the Sausalito waterfront, in Sausalito, CA.

Vexatious Media

Vexatious Media wanted something that spoke to the definition of the word vexatious, while putting a strong, positive spin on it in the name of rebellion and justice. We came up with this x crossing over the v, which resembles a scarlet letter mixed with a super hero team logo. Vexatious Media is a collective of investigative journalists from Silicon Valley who set out to expose corruption in the California family court system.

Foresight construction

To match the straightforward nature and precision of construction, we designed this logo to be simple and functional. The f and the c fit together like blocks, and can also be seen as a topographical floor plan of a kitchen with an island. Foresight Construction is a home renovation company based out of Concord, CA.

Album Art

Music and it’s aesthetic presentation is a very important aspect of our creative sensibilities at CTRL D MEDIA. What started as a necessity when finishing our teenage musical projects, album art design has become one of our passions and favorite services to provide for artists. We utilize a variety of software and practical techniques in order to come up with our best interpretation of what your music should look like.
